Um... 'Lost Highway', anybody?

Any of David Lynch's recent films, for that matter (Mulholland Dr., Inland Empire).

I first saw the Enrico film in slightly edited form as an episode of The Twilight Zone (with Serling intro and concluding remarks). I never realized how many films were inspired by the classic Bierce story.

Good article, wasn’t aware the story had inspired so many films. It’s one of my favourite short stories, very descriptive yet never at the expense of pace.

The Sixth Sense is another well known one, even though it doesn’t follow the structure exactly – in that the events aren’t a creation of the mind – the gist is similar.
