		<description>Definitely the perfect guilty pleasure! And I agree, my favorite part of the film is the dance number with Newton-John and Kelly. It really IS heartwarming. It was the last film Gene Kelly ever appeared in (he had roles in a few mini-series and appeared on &quot;Love Boat&quot; in the mid-80s), which makes it really special, I think.

Certainly they were trying to do too much, but I wonder if the film wouldn&#039;t have turned out such a stinker for the most part with a better leading man, or at least someone a little more suited to the musical genre than Michael Beck. Like, wouldn&#039;t it have been better with Richard Gere?</description>
